Start your weekend off in a healthy way on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan. Bring your mat (some will be available for rent) and yoga blocks, wear comfortable clothes, bring water, and enjoy. All levels and abilities welcome.

The Lake County Suicide Prevention Task Force 11th Annual 5K Walk/Run for Awareness and Suicide Prevention will be an in-person walk at the College of Lake County (Grayslake Campus) on Saturday, September 23rd. They are excited to be back in person, but you can also choose to walk independently wherever you feel comfortable. The kickoff will be in person with registration at 9am, event at 10am - and it will also be on Facebook Live for those who cannot join in person. Take any videos and photos and share them with the team, so they can share with the whole Lake County community knowing that, We Are All In This Together!

Get started learning how to make you own clothing or make alterations & repairs, or get help with designs you've already started ... all in an environment of wellness and tranquility. Itinerary is: Yoga and meditation at 9 am. Refreshments at 10 am. Sewing at 1030 am to 1230 pm.

Have fun Lino print making with Dandelion Artist Alliance member, Jesus Ortega that will teach how to create their own Lino-stamp using tools to develop printed picture (s). All materials are included. Treats and refreshments provided. Family friendly workshop. Youth under 12 must be accompanied by a parent unless authorized. Print making is a process of transferring an image from a carved block or prepared silk screen to make many copies of the original art that evolved during the political evolutionary period. Moms and Sons assemble! Join the Mom and Son Superhero Party! Attendees are encouraged to disguise themselves as their favorite superhero for a hero’s day of fun! The mission includes a pizza lunch and a superhero dessert, superhero games and a “make and take” craft. The Mom and Son Superhero Party is for sons ages 3-13, along with their mother figure. Bottoms Up for Babies is the signature fundraiser from Keeping Families Covered. Keeping Families Covered Keeping Families Covered is a 501c3 organization that provides diapers and other basic needs to families. The event will include self-guided tours of the groups, live music, Acts of Kindness Cabaret, silent auction and more.

Last year was so much fun we're doing it again! We are holding a Ravinia-style concert, under the stars in our parking lot.
