As part of the Museum’s commitment to ensuring that every child has access to a high-quality children’s Museum experience, Kohl Children’s Pop-Up Museum brings exhibits and the education team directly to communities in Northern Lake County. The Pop-Up Museum returns to Waukegan for April, May and June! The pop-up includes Imagination Playground: exploring construction using oversize building blocks; Airmazing: experimenting with air flow, wind tubes, and Bernoulli blowers; Science & You: explore science instruments and health science; Art Studio and Reading Nook; Learn at Home: fun activities to take home, to continue hands-on learning beyond the Pop-Up. Greetings everyone. This is the first of two memorial events being held by the family in honor of Harrison Bankhead and the only one of the family memorials in Waukegan. All are welcome.

At Christian Action Network, we thrive to improve our communities through the influence of using Godly principles to bring positive change while engaging our community leaders. One of the ways we aspire to make a difference this upcoming spring is by presenting a Christian themed theatrical play called “A Youth Saved”. This play tells a story about redemption and the positive influence a redeemed person can have on others.

Legacy Reentry Foundation chose the theme Relentless Hope for their 2023 Gala because we are an organization that believes in overcoming , persevering and elevating despite any obstacles. Save the date and join them for a day of celebration, determination and most importantly “Hope”.
