Waukegan Symphony Orchestra brings back its award-winning “Peter and the Wolf” that includes the story narrated in both English and Spanish as well as visual art being created for the audience to enjoy. Experience the beauty of Mozart’s Concerto for Flute and Harp with guest soloists Jordan Thomas and Timothy Hagen. As part of this piece, the WSO is collaborating with Sharing Our Shore-Waukegan to show a movie of the four piping plovers that were at Waukegan Beach that volunteer monitors were keeping an eye on this summer. While the fingers are flying in Flight of the Bumblebee, the audience will watch and learn about the Waukegan Park Foundation’s bee pollinator initiative.
