Notice of Request for Qualifications

Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) are requested and will be received by the City of Waukegan (“City”), electronically in PDF format via email to  with a copy to  and  until October 12, 2023 at 9:00 am Central Standard Time (CST) for Phase III Construction Engineering Services RFQ for Belvidere Bridge Rehabilitation.

The City seeks RFQs from a qualified engineering firm(s) (each, a “Prospective Contractor”) to provide Phase III Construction Engineering Services RFQ for Belvidere Bridge Rehabilitation.

Submissions responding to the RFQ (“Responsive Submissions”) will not be opened in public. Responsive Submissions must be submitted via email with the subject title:

Phase III Construction Engineering Services for Belvidere Bridge Rehabilitation

The body of the email must include the name and address of the Prospective Contractor.

Responsive Submissions must be addressed to Jesus Alquicira and must be received before October 12, 2023 at 9:00 am.

Any question regarding the RFQ should be directed to Jesus Alquicira, at jesus.alquicira@waukeganil.gov.

RFQ packets can be obtained from the City of Waukegan by forwarding their request to .   A RFQ packet PDF will be forwarded to the email request.  RFQ packets can also be obtained through DemandStar at https://www.demandstar.com/app/agencies/illinois/city-of-waukegan/procurement-opportunities/c9af102c-315f-4cb9-86f6-4733f5dca88b/.

Each Prospective Contractor, by submitting a Responsive Submission to provide the aforementioned services, signifies their intention and good faith to enter into a contractor agreement with the City of Waukegan should they be selected. The City reserves the right to reject any and all Responsive Submissions and to make an award on that Responsive Submission which, in its opinion, are most advantageous to the City.

La solicitud de calificaciones ("RFQ") se solicita y será recibida por la Ciudad de Waukegan ("Ciudad"), electrónicamente en formato PDF por correo electrónico a  con copia a  y  hasta 12 de octubre, 2023 en 9:00 am Hora estándar central (CST) para Fase III Servicios de Ingeniería de Construcción RFQ para la rehabilitación del puente Belvidere.

La Ciudad busca RFQ de una (s) empresa (s) de ingeniería calificada (cada una, un "Contratista Prospectivo") para proporcionar la Fase III de Servicios de Ingeniería de Construcción para la Rehabilitación del Puente Belvidere.

Las presentaciones que respondan a la RFQ ("Presentaciones receptivas") no se abrirán en público. Los envíos responsivos deben enviarse por correo electrónico con el título del asunto:

Cada posible contratista, al enviar una presentación receptiva para proporcionar los servicios antes mencionados, significa su intención y buena fe de celebrar un acuerdo de contratista con la ciudad de Waukegan en caso de ser seleccionado. La Ciudad se reserva el derecho de rechazar todas y cada una de las Presentaciones Responsivas y de otorgar un premio sobre aquellas Presentaciones Responsivas que, en su opinión, sean más ventajosas para la Ciudad.
