On Tuesday, June 27th, 5 - 7pm, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will hold a community meeting for the general public to discuss the impacts and regulation of coal ash. The meeting will include presentations from EPA about coal ash and information on resources available to the community.
The community meeting will also include a listening session, during which community members will have an opportunity to voice their thoughts related to coal ash and their community.
The meeting will be held in the College of Lake County (CLC) Lakeshore Campus, Eleanor Murkey Community, 34 N. Sheridan Road. Free parking is at CLC garage at 32 N. Sheridan Road. Use the 2nd floor walkway to access the adjacent building.
