21-EO-01 MAYORAL EMERGENCY ORDER REPEALING AND REPLACING MAYORAL EMERGENCY ORDER 2020-EO-16 REQUIRING THE USE OF FACE COVERINGS replaces Emergency Order #16, but continues to require members of the public and staff at City Hall to wear a face covering. Per the order,
Members of the public who are over age two and able to medically tolerate a face covering entering enclosed facilities owned or operated by the City, including City Hall and any Police, Fire, or Public Works facility, will be required to wear a face covering consistent with CDC guidance, regardless of their vaccination status.
By Emergency Order #16, face coverings are now mandatory when you are doing essential business in the City of Waukegan and will be required in the State of Illinois for anyone over the age of two who is able to medically tolerate it, in order to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Face coverings may be masks, scarves, or anything that will cover your nose and mouth.
