On Monday, June 18, 2018, the Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) held its Landmark Plaque presentation at the Welcome Jilson Residence, located at 430 N. Sheridan Road, which was constructed circa 1845. The presentation was attended by many dignitaries including the proud owner, Harry Came. The owner has undertaken significant remodeling, renovation and exterior improvements on the Jilson Residence, making it a fine example of Greek Revival style architecture.
