Operation Changes – Coronavirus (COVID-19) Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Office of the City Clerk at Waukegan City Hall is open to the public with an amended operating schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M., reopening from 12:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M., further notice. As usual, phone calls to City Hall, emails and voicemails will be retrieved, distributed and attended to on a daily basis. The Office of the City Clerk will continue to keep the public informed regarding City Council meetings as well as prepare agendas, plus, process FOIA’s, Death & Birth certificates in addition to liquor licensing renewals during this time. The Waukegan City Clerk is the Liquor License administrator for the City of Waukegan, accepting applications and issuing permits where applicable.
