  2. Getting to Zero Illinois HIV Town Hall

    January 23, 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM @ Waukegan Public Library

    The Lake County Health Department and Getting to Zero Project partners invite residents to share their thoughts, ideas and hopes for getting to zero new HIV infections in Illinois at the Getting to Zero HIV Town Hall. In July 2016, the Lake County Health Department joined with people living with HIV, advocates, service providers and government officials to explore a plan to dramatically impact the course of the HIV in Illinois. Over the course of a year, the group developed the Getting to Zero Framework to guide Illinois toward zero new HIV infections and zero people living with HIV who are not receiving treatment.
