    Shredfest is a DIY celebration of skateboarding art, music, and culture. Come out to skate, party, and rock out in the streets of downtown Waukegan! Shredfest is open and welcoming to skateboarders of all ages, genders, and abilities-EVERYONE is welcome. Free Skate in front of Burgundy Room; Jazz Alley Art Show; BBQ, DJs, and Photo contest ... all from 5 - 9pm. Live Rock from 9pm-2am in the Burgundy Room (rock show is 21+). Bands include SHOTS FIRED SHOTS FIRED; STALE PHISH; THE DREAD; and FASTPLANTS.

  2. Lake County Farm Stroll Day

    September 17, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM @ Kroll's Fall Harvest Farm

    Take a stroll on the country side with the Lake County Farm Stroll. Attendees may choose to visit anytime during those hours and see what is growing, how the farm works, and peek into agricultural life. The event is free, but agricultural products will be available for sale. Activities like the corn maze and hay rides require a nominal fee. A number of other farms in Lake County are also open to the public on September 17th.

    Viva Mexico! Join your friends and neighbors in experiencing one of the liveliest and most colorful parades in Waukegan - Fiestas Patrias! The parade route is Butrick and Washington, east on Washington Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue then north on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.
